Now Available on CD-ROM for the first time:

Modeling a MEC/GRS U18B, by Mike Rose

Included in this CD are the following:

ALL the photos from the U18B group mailings (prototype and model), and a few more.  As you may or may not know, this detailed kitbashing virtual article shows how I built a late production U18B with the correct features.  This is good for MEC and Guilford units, and is also applicable to the Providence and Worcester U18 except for the trucks.  There are detailed, work in process photos for each step.

A menu system and navigational aids that let you jump to a particular Step or chapter, go forward, backwards, or return to the main menu.

Virtually ALL of the text of the e-mails, including the photo captions, edited for clarity.  The Steps are presented largely in the order they were presented, the only thing left out are my mistakes!  The organization of the pages has been cleaned up, but the basic idea is the same if you were getting the HTML e-mails.  If you couldn't, then this is an opportunity to see how it was intended to look.

The CD will auto play in any Windows system that has its' CD player set up to do that, and will call up your default browser with the main menu in the window.   This CD should work on any platform, I've even tested it on Linux!

The CD has a full color label and window sleeve envelope as it's packaging, and will be shipped in a sturdy mailer.  It will also be available for purchase at the upcoming New England Prototype Modeler's Meet near Hartford on June 4th and 5th, where I'll be doing a clinic on the construction of this locomotive.

Price of the CD is $21.50 if you want to send me a check, or $22 if you want to use Pay Pal for immediate shipment.   That price includes shipping domestically in the US only, please contact me directly for international shipments.
